Interior Design

Founded in 2009, Nadia Watts Interior Design creates timeless interiors shaped by architecture, art, and thoughtfully collected objects. Based in Denver and working with clients nationwide, the studio is known for layered homes that balance historic character with contemporary living.

Drawing on a lifelong connection to the decorative arts—including her heritage as the great-great-granddaughter of Louis Comfort Tiffany—Nadia approaches each project with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, color, and the stories objects carry. The result is interiors that feel deeply personal, enduring, and quietly sophisticated.

The firm’s work has been featured in leading design publications including Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, Galerie, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, and Luxe Interiors + Design.

A cozy dining room with a wooden table surrounded by four wicker chairs, a blue vase with white hydrangeas on the table, and two upholstered armchairs with blue and white patterns. The room has wood flooring, light blue paneled walls, a vintage green and white pendant lamp hanging from the ceiling, and two framed pictures on the wall. Sunlight streams in through a large window with curtains.

Product Design

A defining element of Nadia’s work is the integration of art, antiques, and personal collections into the design of a home. Many projects incorporate significant art collections and heirloom objects, carefully placed to enhance both the architecture and the daily experience of the space.

Color and craftsmanship also play a central role in the studio’s work. This sensibility is reflected in Nadia’s collaboration with Kravet on The Gem Collection, a line of textiles inspired by the luminous color and layered artistry associated with Tiffany glass.

By balancing historic pieces with contemporary furnishings, the studio creates interiors that feel layered, distinctive, and enduring.

A decorated living room wall features a wooden console table with pink glossy ceramic stools underneath. The table holds two colorful lamps with pink shades, a green vase with pink flowers, and various decorative items including books, sculptures, and a pearl necklace. A large framed artwork above the table depicts a fantasy scene with birds or phoenixes in pastel colors. To the left, part of a gray armchair with wooden arms is visible, and to the right, a small stack of art and photo books is on a tiny wooden stool. A pink and purple patterned rug covers the floor in front.

About Nadia

For more than two decades, Nadia Watts has designed interiors that feel layered, meaningful, and deeply connected to the lives of her clients. After studying at Hollins University and the New York School of Interior Design, she founded her studio in 2009 with a vision of creating homes that blend architecture, art, and personal history.

A lifelong connection to the arts has shaped Nadia’s perspective on design. Her mother was an art educator, and she is the great-great-granddaughter of Louis Comfort Tiffany, the pioneering American artist and designer whose work in stained glass and decorative arts helped shape American design history.

Early experiences working with art—including assisting a curator in the American Decorative Arts department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art—deepened her appreciation for craftsmanship, history, and the way objects shape the experience of a space.

Today, Nadia’s interiors reflect that enduring connection to art and design history. Her work brings together pieces from different eras—antiques, contemporary furnishings, art, and personal collections—to create homes that feel thoughtfully assembled rather than simply decorated.

Nadia is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and has participated in major design events including the Kips Bay Decorator Show House and the Denver Designer Show House.
