Kravet x nadia watts

This vibrant collection of fabrics brings together a rich mix of modern embroideries, bold prints, plush velvets, tactile bouclés, and layered textures—each piece offering versatility and a refined design sensibility. Inspired by the intricate beauty of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s Favrile glass, the collection celebrates its most captivating quality: a kaleidoscope of colors that shift and glow like a butterfly’s wings. Shades of chartreuse, fuchsia, and teal stand out, echoing the luminous hues found in stained glass.

“This collection began five years ago, during a visit to The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass. I was completely captivated by the depth, dimension, and sheer abundance of color before me. That experience became my North Star. With watercolors and markers in hand, I started designing patterns that would evolve into what is now The Gem Collection. I'm incredibly grateful to Kravet for believing in the vision and helping bring it to life.” - Nadia

Nadia’s creative journey is rooted in a remarkable legacy. Nearly two centuries ago, her great-great-grandfather, Louis Comfort Tiffany, founded the legendary Tiffany Studios in New York City. The son of Charles Lewis Tiffany—founder of Tiffany & Co.—Louis began working with glass in the 1880s, pioneering techniques to produce uniquely iridescent, multi-colored sheets for stained-glass windows. His groundbreaking artistry later extended to vases and lamps, which remain prized by collectors to this day.

“I love that I can take my great-great-grandfather’s Tiffany glass from 140+ years ago and have it be the foundation for a fabric collection that can be used today for furniture, draperies, pillows, headboards and more,”- Nadia
