In this "Modern Twist on Old World" project, Nadia Watts Interior Design worked closely with the client to create a sophisticated backdrop that honors classical architecture while embracing clean lines, layered textures, and bold, artistic expression.

Each room serves as a gallery in its own right—featuring carefully curated pieces that span eras and styles. The collected artwork adds depth and storytelling to every space, from contemporary paintings that inject energy, to antique finds that nod to tradition. The interiors were thoughtfully designed to highlight the art: palettes remain purposeful yet neutral, allowing each piece to shine, while lighting and furniture placement were selected to complement the collection without overwhelming it.

The result is a home that feels cultivated and lived-in, where old-world character meets modern artistry. It’s a seamless fusion of past and present, refined and relaxed—a reflection of both the home’s history and the client’s unique aesthetic vision.
