Kips Bay Palm Beach ShowHouse 2024

Sargent Photgraphy

Welcome to the Jeweled Gallery, a radiant space inspired by the legacy of Tiffany Studios Glass, founded by my great-great-grandfather, Louis Comfort Tiffany. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a 28-foot custom rug by Retorra, designed with oval medallions echoing a brooch from the Tiffany & Co. Archives. The rug’s graceful linking motif introduces curves and movement, softening the room’s linear architecture.

Overhead, a trio of luminous chandeliers from Currey & Company casts a glow across the ceiling, which is adorned with a hand-painted wallcovering by Porter Teleo—custom-colored to echo the gem-like palette of the room. The walls are drenched in Oasis Blue by Benjamin Moore, creating a bold, immersive backdrop.

Anchoring the far end of the gallery is a commanding large-scale work by Gary Komarin, drawing you toward a Kravet cut velvet sofa in Foundrae—a fabric from my Nadia Watts Gem Collection. Flanking the windows are elegant treatments by The Shade Store, featuring Hoopla, another fabric from the collection, finished with exquisite tassel tiebacks from Samuel & Sons.

Between the windows stand a pair of striking, late-20th-century burlwood chests, each a sculptural element in its own right. A vintage Biedermeier burlwood table from Show Pony Palm Beach commands the center of the space, surrounded by playful vintage Lucite chairs that add both color and a touch of nostalgia. Above them hang works by Kathryn Evans, carefully curated in partnership with Singulart to echo the room’s vibrant, layered energy.

This space is also a love letter to Palm Beach design—we were thrilled to source locally from Casa Branca, Circa Who, and Show Pony, whose pieces helped bring this vision to life with history, soul, and a touch of sparkle.
