Thank you to HGTV and Lauren Oster for the opportunity to share my favorite source for antiques and why incorporating antiques is such a meaningful part of my design philosophy. Read the full article here.

In Colorado, two shops I return to often are Black Tulip Antiques and Eron Johnson Antiques. Black Tulip offers an ever-evolving mix of European pieces layered with patina and personality, while Eron Johnson’s expansive warehouse is filled with architectural salvage and vintage gems from around the world. Each visit holds the promise of something unexpected.

In Florida, three shops that I love going to are Show Pony Palm Beach, Casa Branca, and Circa Who. During the 2024 Kips Bay Palm Beach Decorator Show House, I felt it was essential to work with local resources for the furniture, objects, and accessories — not only to ground the design in a sense of place, but also to highlight the incredible shops in the area.

In today’s design landscape, antiques are more than just beautiful objects. They reflect a thoughtful way of living—where history, craftsmanship, and individuality come together to tell a story. Happy reading!
