Finishing her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Hollins University in Virginia, Nadia found her passion in the art of Interior Design. After graduation she worked with Elaine Stephenson Interiors of Roanoke, Virginia. Nadia then went to New York City to work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in the American Decorative Arts Department.
During her tenure at the Met, Nadia enrolled at the New York School of Interior Design in the graduate program. After completing the program, Nadia moved to Denver Colorado to be with her future husband. Upon arriving in Denver, Nadia started work with Douglas Associates, Interior Designers. As a project manager, she oversaw multi-million dollar residential projects. This included a penthouse at the Denver Art Museum Residences, which not only houses a breathtaking private collection of Contemporary Art, but also includes a collection of furniture designed by internationally known artists.
Nadia Watts Interior Design has provided Nadia the creative venue to demonstrate and explore her design skills. Her projects include renovating historical homes to designing new homes from the ground up. Nadia’s forte is attention to detail and expressing the personalities of her clients in the feel of their homes.
The design work of Nadia Watts Interior Design has been featured in numerous publications, which include Luxe Interiors + Design, 5280 Home, Dering Hall, The Scout Guide, Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, and Reign Magazine. In addition, the firm has received several awards, including The Robert & Judi Newman Award for Excellence in Classical and Traditional Design with The Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, Luxe Interiors + Design Eye on Design 2017, 5280 Home Top Denver Design 2016, and Luxe Interiors + Design Gold List 2015.
