Finishing her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Hollins University in Virginia, Nadia found her passion in the art of Interior Design. After graduation she worked with Elaine Stephenson Interiors of Roanoke, Virginia. Nadia then went to New York City to work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in the American Decorative Arts Department.
During her tenure at the Met, Nadia enrolled at the New York School of Interior Design in the graduate program. After completing the program, Nadia moved to Denver Colorado to be with her future husband. Upon arriving in Denver, Nadia started work with Douglas Associates, Interior Designers. As a project manager, she oversaw multi-million dollar residential projects. This included a penthouse at the Denver Art Museum Residences, which not only houses a breathtaking private collection of Contemporary Art, but also includes a collection of furniture designed by internationally known artists.
Nadia Watts Interior Design has provided Nadia the creative venue to demonstrate and explore her design skills. Her projects include historic homes in the Country Club and Central Denver neighborhoods. Nadia’s forte is attention to detail and expressing the personalities of her clients in the feel of their homes.
